What an amazing hotel. The location is excellent, only 2 min away by foot to the main street in Taormina. The hotel staff was very good and always ready to help. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, clean and the view is breathtaking. I will definitely return to the Ashbee.

The location of the Ashbee hotel is fantastic in order to visit Taormina as it is just down the hill from the arch that leads to the main shopping/eating district. Also very near the bus station for airport/excursions etc. The staff are friendly and helpful and very polite. The pool is gorgeous and teh decor of the rooms is beautiful.
The prices charged for food/drink in hotel is beyond crazy- 5.00 eur for a can of coke???? Insane.....This should definitely be revised if they actually want to encourage people to stay and eat and drink at the hotel....esp as the location is so near the town you are better off to go to the centre if you don't have money to burn!!

Bright, luxurious room and MARVELLOUS breakfast. Amazing setting, really close to town center, Greek Theater, and beaches, the main restaurant and Taormina-2 blocks away from the main gate.

We had an amazing and lovely breakfast with sweet and eggs to order, for instance in their cafe. Greatly enjoyed the way our big size and luxurious superior queen room with balcony was. The location was ideal, just next door to the center of Taormina, frenetic Taormina, and nice gardens and easily accessible. There was Pizza Mania nearby to grab something to eat.

gorgeous hotel with really good service
The hotel features fine decor. I appreciated the really good service from the staff, who made every effort to accommodate us. The location is ideal for exploring nearby attractions, with easy access to everything Taormina has to offer. One highlight of my stay was the beautiful infinity pool with amazing views over the landscape.
The bathroom could benefit from a bit more attention to detail.

The service of the Front desk employees was superb. Taormina is a quaint town and we enjoyed very much being close to the ce ter if the town, but the real differentiation of this hotel is the genuine interest and effort demonstrated by Irene, Valerio, Maurizio and Danilo. They took care of all our arrangements of. Flights, excursions, recommendations and reservations for restaurants making our stay relaxing. I can not thank enough for the service provided. Certainly this type of service can only be seenina boutique hotel, not a commercial chain.
I can't complain of anything, but it would be nice if thw hotel is located at the beach.

fine views and quick access to taormina's best spots
I loved that the hotel not only has beautiful terraces but also places you just a short stroll from charming landmarks like Pisa IX April and San Pancrazio Church, made exploring the area so enjoyable, especially with the scenic parks surrounding it inviting me to take leisurely walks at every turn. Plus, the outdoor swimming pool was a refreshingly rare feature for a stay in Taormina was great that little extra luxury while enjoying the beautiful city vibe.

There are so many great things to write about The Ashbee that I don't know where to start. Firstly, the hotel itself is beautiful - cannot fault it at all - quality and luxury and it's very quiet at night in your room so for a light sleeper like myself, I was very pleased to easily get a good night sleep. The service from all staff was excelllent - there was no request that was too difficult or outside their job role - they exceeded our expectations on many occasions. All of the staff were always very warm and freindly - we simply cannot commend them enough - we were very impressed! Great location - easy to get to the beaches and close to all of the restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.
It seems to be a common trend with all European hotels but we really would have liked the convenience of an iron and ironing board in the room. It is somewhat of a hassle to have to think of what you want to wear on the following day, send it off by a certain time and pay for that service. It would be great to just do your own ironing whenever you feel like it. Also, this is only a small thing but it would be better if the rooms have a kettle in them becuase we like to bring our own teas and drink them as we please. With no kettles provided in the rooms we couldn't do so.

The staff friendliness was out of the ordinary. Within one day they all knew who we were and adressed us accordingly. The General Manager was most courtious to us also.
Service by the pool tended to be a bit slow. The hotel needs to have a restaurant. Not all rooms are accessible by a list. I have a slight foot disability and it was not very comfortable to walk up a fliught of steps.

The rooms are very comfortable and extremely clean. The staff are super courteous and polite. The hotel grounds are very well kept and there is ample place where to relax. The hotel is well located within 100m of the centre.
There were no umbrellas available by the pool area. We were informed by the staff that as the hotel had only just opened the umbrellas had not yet been purchased but we were promised that they would be purchased the following week.

I was offered a room with delightful views of the sea and the coastline...
Ordered breakfast, it was basic, it should definitely be improved, really.
